DISCOVER YOUR IDEAL COASTERS
The right coaster is a stylish, yet practical addition to any home. We’re not talking about a cardboard one you picked up at the local pub, we’re talking about a beautiful, art-inspired ceramic or wooden coaster. We’re talking about a Koh Living coaster.
While small in size, the position of table coasters allows them to make a big impact in the room around them. Table coasters are a great way to add a pop of colour or a decorative point of interest on your living room coffee table.
Our collection of ceramic and wooden coasters really are a celebration of all things Australian. Featuring beautiful Australian wildflowers, native animals and traditional Aboriginal art, each ceramic coaster is a little piece of art.
At Koh Living, we’re all about coasters for gifts. Enrich their tea time ritual (and protect their table!) when you give one or more gorgeous ceramic coasters or a wooden coaster pack. Available in a range of colours and styles, a carefully chosen coaster can be very meaningful and sentimental.
Our Australian coasters are also a great gift to send to friends and family living overseas. Remind them of home and save money on shipping bulky goods.
What is a coaster used for?
A coaster, drink coaster, beverage coaster, or beermat is an item used to rest drinks upon. Ceramic coasters protect the surface of a table or any other surface where the user might place a drink and are perfect for a gift, especially the ceramic coasters with Australian artist designs on them.
How many coasters in a set?
Our coasters with Australian themes can be purchased individually, enabling you to mix and match as you would like to make your own round coaster set or square coaster set. Ceramic round coasters usually come in sets of anywhere between four and eight to a pack and are often purchased for gifts.
How big are coasters?
Our coasters are 10cm (4 inches). Some bar or drink coasters in Australia are in a square coaster set, others are round, but both options have a typical 4×4 inch size. This is the ideal shape is square or round as it is large enough to hold most drinking mugs and glasses.
Is ceramic good for coasters?
While square and round coasters come in a wide variety of materials, from cotton to cork, some of the most absorbent choices are felt and porous stones like ceramic and sandstone. If you go with one of these materials, your coasters will be able to properly manage any condensation that runs off your glass.
